I definitely don't think this lives up to the hype. Plus the smell is sweet, like sherbert which I'm not a fan of. Find it too heavy to hold my curls, it works OK to smooth hair though. The gel-oil by Bumble & Bumble works much better for me.

Better than mousse, but not spectacular

This curl cream is the best styling product I've found so far for my wavy hair, but it isn't perfect. The pros: • Smells wonderful • Doesn't make roots greasy even if you use a lot of product • No crunchiness • Hair feels smooth if you brush it (as I do for second-day hair) • Slightly tames frizz The cons: • Curls are not as bouncy and structured as with a mousse Even though the pros outweigh the cons, I plan to keep shopping to see if I can find a better product.

I have fine, thin hair and therefore I feel this product works better for me used with a styling gel. If used on its own it has a tendency to leave my hair too soft and less defined. I would imagine it would work great on thick hair on its own, but for us fine curly girls a gel works great to lock in the curls.

I love this product for styling my curly hair. Depending on the climate/weather, sometimes I mix it with an equal quantity of light gel to give additional smoothness and hold when humidity is high.

Have been using Aveda for over 20 years and as soon as they brought out their Be Curly range I tried everything! I use the curl enhancer every day on dry hair to revive my curls and keep frizz away. Absolutely love it and it smells devine. I now only have to wash my hair weekly

This is by far and away the best curl enhancing cream I have tried. Just rub into towel dried hair, comb through, and dry using the diffuser. Holds curls well without being crunchy, also controls frizz well. Can 100% recommend, will definitely buy again!

Great product! It really does natural curls (or if you have a perm, like me). You can also curl your straight hair and it will stick quite well. The only bad thing is that it makes your hair a bit dry to the touch. Also, when you put it on and your hair dries, it might look a bit frizzy but it settles down later. Will buy again!
