Lightweight and hydrating
4So I’ve used this twice now, once on its own and once with gel. On its own it does enhance curls a bit - compared to air dried with no products, however, I would definitely suggest using a gel for more definition and hold. I have thick, fairly coarse wavy hair and it doesn’t weigh it down and makes my hair feel soft. Has a slightly unusual botanical smell which goes away in a few hours. Would also recommend diffuse drying

Best product by far
5This product is fantastic for al loyu curly/fizzy haired gals out there. Its brings back the bounce, defiinition and curl back to the hair with just a samll amount of product.

My desert island luxury
5I’ve been using this for 15 years after a recommendation at a department store. I’ve naturally curly hair but it needs product to enhance and stop frizziness. I just use it on wet hair using my finger to curl it in and then dry naturally. It also smells lovely too. Non sticky and you don’t need loads for it to work. I also use on dry hair. It’s my number 1 luxury item for a desert island lock down :-)

5I love this product. It smells amazing and creates natural curls. You only need a small amount so the tube lasts quite a long time.

Defines curls and waves
5This curl cream is fantastic! I apply it to soaking wet hair, scrunch, and leave to air dry. It really enhances my natural curls and makes them feel soft. There’s no “crunchiness” or frizz. I like the smell as well, it’s subtle and botanical but not strong which I like. Will definitely repurchase.

Leaves my waves more defined
5I usually braid my hair at night to have wavy hair in the morning, I started putting this product on my damp hair before braiding and it makes my waves look more defined, and they seem to last longer throughout the day. You only need a very small amount though, otherwise its too heavy

Love this cream!
5My first curl cream ever, did so much research to buy the right product and I did! Everything about this Aveda curl cream is right: the texture is light in comparison to other brands which can be very thick, the smell is good and I managed to get it on sale too. If you are starting out your curly girl journey, this is a good starting point.
