Caused me to have an Itchy Scalp

I love Aveda products and my hairdresser recommended I try the Botanical range. Sadly the Shampoo & conditioner must have an ingredient that causes me to have an itchy scalp. I have never had this reaction to a hair product before but I won’t be able to use the botanical range again because of the reaction. Interestingly I see someone else has had had a similar experience.

I have very tangle prone, dry hair, and this shampoo makes it sooo smooth and silky. Also makes your hair smell beautiful all day

Menopausal must-have!

Aah the joys of menopause.. thin lack lustre texture, dull and dreary hair … until … I discovered this!! It’s like a vitamin shot for the locks! The difference is instantly noticeable from the fullness to the ease of drying even to the obvious lack of breakage too … I can’t recommend this wonderful product highly enough. I buy this and it’s sister conditioner and the smoothing lotion and whilst I can’t do much about my hot flashes and mood swings … at least my hair looks pretty darn fab for an ‘older bird’  Very highly recommended indeed. Helps to get a good price and fast delivery as well. Since lockdown I’ve only bought my products from here on line ..I’m very impressed all round actually ❤️

Allergic Reaction

I purchased the shampoo and conditioner and immediately suffered from an allergic reaction with a burning/itchy scalp. I had to go to a consultation with a trichologist in order to get help with calming down my scalp afterwards. Unsure whether anyone else has had this experience but the fragrance is really strong. Have since chucked this out as I cannot use it again. I gave it one star as annoyingly it did make my hair (e.g. the ends) feel really nice afterwards it just caused such a severe reaction on my scalp!

This shampoo completely healed my itchy, flakey scalp! I never suffered with this before but I was using Olaplex shampoo prior to this which just didn’t work for me and left me with quite a lot of build up and an irritated my scalp.  This shampoo cleanses well but doesn’t strip your ends or leave your scalp dry. It’s a herbal smell which I like too.
