Expensive for what it is

Saw brilliant reviews for this and thought I'd give it a try. It was OK, but not as good as I'd hoped after reading the reviews. I'd rather use batiste as far cheaper and more effective in my opinion.

An upgrade!

This was an upgrade for me after years of using a cheaper, well known aerosol drugstore dry shampoo. I decided to take the plunge and splurge on a more expensive (and hopefully healthier) product after hearing a variety of slightly scary concerns about certain ingredients in the cheaper dry shampoos. This Aveda one is definitely an upgrade. It’s not an aerosol for starters, and there’s a slight learning curve when first applying. Trick seems to be to shake well, hold the bottle at an angle and squeeze (gently) to distribute a small finely dispersed burst of the product to your roots. The results are pretty astounding, not only does it eliminate any oily look… but it actually makes my hair look like I’ve styled it weirdly enough. A result of the weight of the product maybe, smoothing the hair and giving it a polished look? It won’t feel clean to the touch (that would be magic though can you imagine?) But if a refresh and a few extra days between washes is what you’re after, and you can afford it, then I’d thoroughly recommend it!

If you use it on the first day after washing your hair, not only your hair stays longer clean but it also gives amazing volume. The packaging is a bit weird and you need to shake it well and then squeeze the bottle itself to get the product but overall very happy with purchase
