I have bought it by accident as I thought it was a cream not gel. Even though it's a nice formula, I enjoyed it. Not enough for me for winter but really lovely brand that delivers.

Hydrating

I initially was put off by the "gel" in the name as I have dry skin and prefer more creamier formulas but the texture is actually quite thick but light on application. This is my third purchase. I mainly use it at night and it acts as a great buffer when I'm using retinol. You can use it in the mornings too. It works really well under make up. I also use the Aveeno hydrating serum along with it.

Light and calming moisturiser

Really like this moisturiser for daily use. I use retinol at night so I alternate this with my Sunday Riley ICE which is a bit too heavy for day use. This Aveeno one is light, sinks into the skin and helps calm my skin.

I have suffered with acne in the past and struggle with finding fragrance free and non comedogenicity moisturisers. This has been brilliant, feels really nice to put on, not too thick and not too thin. It melts into my skin and hasn’t caused any irritation at all.
