Offering up to 12 hours of wear, the BeYou Menstrual Cup helps to minimise the risk of leaks as you go about your day. Featuring the same absorption of up to three tampons, the reusable cup reduces single-use period products.
The device is crafted from 100% soft, high-quality silicone for enhanced comfort. The Medium size is designed for those under 25 years old, and have either had a caesarean or not given birth.
To Fold: The C-Fold Technique: Rinse your hands and the cup with warm water. Press the sides of the cup together. Fold the cup in half, holding the folded sides firmly between your thumb and forefinger. Relax and push the curved edge of the folded cup into the vaginal opening.
The Punchdown Technique: This fold creates one of the smallest areas. Use your finger to push the lip / rim of the cup down towards the base of the cup. Then, remove your finger as you squeeze the edges together so it doesn’t spring open. For the easiest insertion of the punchdown fold, push the cup into the vagina part way, letting it open, then push the remainder of the way.
How To Insert: Before your first use, clean your cup thoroughly. Wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap. Find a comfortable sitting, standing, squatting or kneeling position.
Wet your menstrual cup as this will make it is easier to insert. Hold onto your cup firmly with your finger and thumb as low down on the cup as possible whilst keeping it folded. With your other hand, at the entrance to the vagina, guide the cup up and towards your back. The BeYou Menstrual Cup has been designed to be worn as low as it will comfortably sit in the vagina.
Make sure the cup has opened fully, and that a seal has formed. Run your finger around the side of your menstrual cup to ensure it is fully open. Pinch the base of the cup and rotate it. Make sure this is the base of the cup and not the stem. Clench your menstrual cup with your vaginal muscles.
Ensure you have trimmed the stem to the right length for you. The end of the stem of the cup should sit comfortably just inside vagina. As a guide, if you find that the cup is uncomfortable when sitting or walking then it is likely you need to trim the stem slightly.
How To Remove: Relax your body and take your time. Release the seal. Squat, or sit on the toilet. Gently squeeze the base to release the seal. Or, insert a finger alongside your cup to release the seal. When the base of the cup is almost out of the vagina, angle the cup slightly sideways to remove half of the rim before angling it the other way to release the other half. This will ensure the cup slides out of the vagina smoothly and remains upright with the fluid contained inside. Empty the contents of your cup into the toilet, rinse and reinsert.
To Clean: There are a number of different cleansing methods you can use to keep your cup clean.
1: We recommend using the BeYou Menstrual Cup Foaming Cleanser to thoroughly cleanse your cup. To use, simply squirt a small amount of the cleanser onto the cup and lather with your hands to form a foam, turning the cup inside out where necessary. Once clean, rinse with clean water.
2: Cover fully with water and boil in an allocated pan for 5-7 minutes. Do not leave the boiling pan unattended and ensure the cup is fully cool before re-inserting.
3: If you are in a public toilet without your Foaming Cleanser, take a small bottle of water in to the cubicle to rinse your menstrual cup, or simply empty and reinsert, remembering to wash the cup more thoroughly at the next convenient time. When overseas always use drinking water to clean the cup!

Not for me
Not for every woman but didn’t had a problem to wear. Just not to comfortable for me.
