As someone who’s been red more times than I can count I’ve used my fair share of semi permanents to keep it vibrant. This one’s okay. Not my favourite but definitely not the worst. More of a warm fire truck red. It fades quickly but also never truly washes out.

I have two toned hair and this stuck to the bleached parts so well, it’s a fire truck red! Very bright. The light brown parts of my hair have gone burgundy so it definitely works differently based on what level your hair is. I do however prefer the revolution ‘Cherry Red’ as it’s the same results but more conditioning.

Red semi permanent hair dye

It works lovely on both light and dark hair. It’s so vibrant and pigmented that blonde hair absorbs it so well but it gives a lovely cherry red hue on dark hair too!  Recommend to try even if you have dark hair, it’s subtle but a lovely colour and wait till you stand in the sun with it!

I had a red balayage done to my hair - I wanted a semi permanent dye to spruce it up in between salon visits. And for this it’s brilliant. I mixed with conditioned and it diluted it well and brightened up the red there. More of a red than the copper when I used the shrine drops achieved.

Nowhere near arctic fox

Nothing compared to arctic fox dye. Thought I'd try this as more easily available, but it's not mixable to create your own custom shades, it doesnt last long, doesnt condition the hair and isnt very even, with a watery texture. Will be sticking with arctic fox - so worth the money
