Subtle tan

The cream is easy to apply and has a subtle pleasant smell, unlike some tanning products.  The effect is also subtle but I am pale skinned so this is fine for me.  The cream is white and does not have a shimmer as another reviewer described. The tube is small and with daily use probably won't last long but I knew this before ordering and was happy with this as a first try.

I really wanted to like this, but I’m not sold on it so far. My previous tan was fading and I usually use another well-known brand of gradual tan to top up in between instant tans but thought I’d give this one a try instead. I’ve used it two days running now and haven’t seen any difference in colour whatsoever. It goes on smoothly and has an okay smell (cocoa) but it feels more like an ordinary moisturiser than a tanning lotion. I only bought the small bottle to see what it was like before committing to the larger bottle - I’d say at a push you’d get three days of use out of this size - I’m not sure I’ll buy this again or get the larger size. The bottle does say to use it every day so it might develop better with longer use, but other brands I’ve used have provided visible results after just one use so the fact that this hasn’t shown any difference after a couple of uses puts me off buying more. Perhaps if it offered different options, light to medium, medium to dark, etc., it might work better with different skin tones but the one size fits all doesn’t seem to work, sadly.

I love love love this beautiful product has a shimmery golden finish before the tan comes so you know where you’ve been putting it. It’s smells good and the end result after a couple of applications is a very realistic golden tan, nobody would know it’s a ‘fake tan’ at all.
