3I have 4c medium/ high Porosity Hair. I used this product with the moisture milk from Camille Rose. I am comparing this butter to the other butter in the Camille Rose line- the Curlaide The almond Jai Butter does keep moisture in my hair for a few days when applied over a leave in conditioner. My only issue is that I find that this butter builds up on my hair quicker than the Curlaide Butter Does. So if you wash your hair every 2 weeks like I do I wouldn't use this. If you wash your hair more often you should be fine. There is Beeswax in this butter so I think that's what my hair is not a fan of. I did find when I tried to prepoo just before washing my hair with penetrating oils such as olive oil and coconut after using this butter the oils could not penetrate whereas I don't have that problem with the Curlaide Butter or even Hair Grease like Blue Magic.

5Love the product, although it is on the expensive side for me, but it was cheapest on look fantastic at the time of purchase, i have a type 4c hair and my go to style is twist and it makes the twist look lovely and it gives an elongated look to the hair too, for me i like the smell, you can smell the almond but also subtle, for me that's a plus.
