Love it but expensive foundation

Definitely a beautiful product which looks extremely natural and not cakey at all- ideal for mature skin which can look worse with foundation that settles in fine lines. This one is perfect because it provides coverage without looking mask like. It’s quite amazing but also the most expensive foundation I ever purchased. Not sure if I will buy it again because Nars is half the price and pretty great as well. I don’t think it’s great to have it in a pot rather than a tube or pump bottle which are more hygienic. Not sure why a high end product like this is not investing in smarter packaging, especially since the chantecaille just skin tinted moisturizer comes in a tube. All in all, a great product if you can afford it.

I wanted to love this but just unsure on it. It is hydrating gives you somewhat coverage but the colours are so random not sure I’ve found the right shade for me and it’s very expensive to keep getting it wrong.

Beautiful foundation

At first I was reluctant to buy this foundation due to the price but I finally took the plunge.  I’m so glad I did.  The foundation goes on smoothly and covers minor imperfections.  I use it together with the blurring powder and find that I don’t need to reapply during the day.  It’s the only foundation I own that is still there at the end of the day and there’s some to actually remove when I use my cleanser.

What a fabulous product this is - I love to try new foundations and skin tints but always seem to come back to this A and then forget just how good it is whilst I’m trying other things. It has the perfect light coverage I’m looking for without being too oily or shiny and seems to have a slight pore blurring effect. Fairly good shade range (although could do with slightly more variety at either end of the skin colour spectrum). Wonderful luxurious gel like texture - and it seems to be relatively long lasting as well. One of my all time favourites!
