Bought shade Elephant. Swatches more brown with flecks of sparkle, but on the eyes goes on more grey. Have to layer to get good colour pay off. Nice eyeshadow, but very pricey.

Perfect one and done

I really love these singles for an easy but luxurious one and done shadow. I apply with fingers for more pigment payoff and blend edges with a brush. There is a bit of fallout but it’s such a finely milled formula that I don’t mind. I don’t experience any eye irritation which I’m happy about. It is pricy for a single thought. As always with Chantecaille the packaging is beautiful.

I bought this in the shade Rhinoceros which is described as a sophisticated olive. It's a bit of a twist on a smokey eye, looks sophisticated yet at the same time cool and grungey. It is sparkly so I don't think I will use it in the day, but it absolutely gorgeous for night!

Very collectible compact shadow

I bought the shade “cheetah” which is a lovely golden shade, champagne almost.   It is shimmery;  but not so much that it isn’t very wearable for day time. Very easy to apply with my finger and lasts well,  though I find I do need to reapply once a day. I’m hoping to buy more shades, especially as the compact it comes in is so striking and unusual. Very happy with my purchase.
