Perfect primer
I like to wear tinted moisturiser, as I find foundation heavy and ageing. I also like to wear a base under the tinted moisturiser. In the past I have used a lightweight moisturiser then I found that the finish was too glossy so I used powder to mattify so I was defeating the object. I was given a sample of Emma Hardie primer and I found this to be a game changer. It is perfect as it gives the base protection I want and it has a UV protection of 30. It also keeps my makeup looking good for the duration. I had to wait for this to come back into stock but as soon as it did I ordered. This has joined my list of must have items in my bag.

I’ve been using this for a few years since receiving a mini in an advent calendar. It’s a lovely primer. I put my daytime face oil on first, then moisturiser, then one pump of prime and protect and let it settle before putting my make up on. I’ve had a few months off over spring and summer, out in the garden each day and I’ve never had to use additional suncream on my face. Most suncreams make my eyes water or break my skin out but never with this. It feels rich when you first put it on but soon sinks in to your skin. I’ve tried many other primers and this is definitely the best for my skin. Would highly recommend.
