Kiss Gel Fantasy Sculpted Nails - Night After

I’m autistic and wasn’t sure I’d like the feel of fake nails, I didn’t want to spend a lot of cash so opted for these. I wanted almond shaped short ones but I couldn’t find cheapish ones I liked.  They come with spare nails and glue, as well as a nail file that is pretty useless. Think they came with a wee stick for pushing cuticles down but I didn’t bother using it.  They actually felt OK, a bit odd to begin with but not as much of a sensory issue as I thought. The glue was VVVV strong which was good. They weren’t hard to apply at all even with my non dominant hand.  BUT… I will say, they were WAY longer than anticipated so once each singular nail was on, I ended up cutting them before applying the next one and doing the same. Cutting them with the kitchen scissors was very difficult and I almost got a bit in my eye. I would definitely go for shorter next time. Once I’d cut them I filed them down (the file that comes with them is tiny and not that great) but they were a bit uneven.  They also feel a bit sore when lifting things when they’re accidently pulled a little. They also have no grip so might be ideal if you struggle with skin picking or hair pulling, but it’s hard to pickup flat stuff say a necklace with them.  The day after my thumb one came off but this could’ve been due to me tidying up/ picking up flat stuff quite roughly.  Would I buy these again? Yes. I’d buy them in a shorter style for a special occasion but day to say I’d likely just paint my nails!  I don’t know how girls wipe themselves with looong nails like these!
