Serum is now mediocre compared to its former glory. It still smooths hair but lacks the shine and luster it used to provide. My hair feels less vibrant and less silky. If you seek extraordinary shine, consider other options.

Lovely light serum
I recently purchased this as the Light Element Aveda Smoothing fluid has sadly been discontinued. I was looking for a replacement product. You have to use less of this product but it still works great. It’s better in dry hair unlike the Aveda one. I love the scent of this serum. My hair feels lovely and soft into the ends. I have naturally curly wavy hair which I normally straighten so a pump or two works fine. In fine hair I wouldn’t recommend a full pump or it may become greasy.
