I have oily/combination skin. It can be a nightmare trying to find something that battles the oil production but also still feels moisturising.  This is now a staple in my skin care routine.  I would say if you have dry skin you may need something a bit more moisturising.

I have suffered with hormonal acne on and off for a number of years and after feeling quite oily I avoided any moisturisers for years for fear of looking shiny. This is more gel like and feels calming and that it's helps calm flared skin without feeling at all greasy. I've even got my boyfriend into it!
