great Product but very messy

sooo i love the overall coverage of this product so i used a large powder brush & it make an awful mess and when i am applying im loosing alot of wastage  where it just puffs on almost every anything im wearing and on places they shouldn't Can anyone recommended a good product to apply this with as the powder brush is big? maybe a smaller better quality brush
