I rate the laura mercier loose powders. These are most definately a go to for me. I have two loose ones a compact and also a bronzer in this brand and the quality is fabulous from packaging to use. My daily go to has a blurring and glow effect and give me confidence. I get comments that my skin looks lovely and glowing and i put down to laura mercier helping me out !!

Nice powder
Always have used the candle glow powder which has now been discontinued. Went to the LM counter and the sales assistant recommend this, was reluctant as prefer a pressed powder but thought would try. A little goes a long way, gives my skin a nice light glow, need to apply very sparingly

I've always set my liquid foundation with Mac Minerals powder (which I love!) But as I've got older powder is aging my skin. I've wanted to try this for ages, and it was finally on offer, hurrah!! I got it in translucent and it definitely has a white shimmer to it, a little goes a loooooong way! Great for highlighting, but use sparingly if using all over. I have the ultra blur version of this (just purchased) which has a natural finish, so I use that, and a light dusting of this, to give that dewy look !

Miss leading product
I'm still undecided if this is suitable for an all over setting powder as the highlight effect is very prominent and them stating this is translucent? Translucent to me means no colour. This definitely leaves a shiny glowing shade behind. I think as an highlighter, it's perfect and does the job but definitely not as a setting powder for all over.
