The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder puts an illuminating twist on traditional setting powders. Aside from keeping your makeup set for 16 hours, the powder uses pearl pigments to grace the skin with a naturally radiant finish. Enriched with vitamins C and E, the powder adds a touch of sheer coverage to promote a seamless matte finish.
The lightweight formula features a soft and silky texture, allowing it to subtly blur the appearance of imperfections without adding weight or looking cakey. What’s more, the no-flashback formula creates a soft-focus effect, making it perfect for photos. With two hues, Laura Mercier is suitable for virtually all skin tones. Adding this powder after your foundation combats unwanted shine and oily finishes, keeping it matte all day, while boasting a subtle luminosity.
- Application: Preparing the puff is key: press the Velour Puff into the loose powder, then work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, or by tapping the powdered side vigorously on back of the hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder in. (Around the eyes, use Secret Brightening Powder For Under Eyes)
- Routine: As with all setting powders, apply after any creamy formulas, including cream blush.

Never without
This has been a staple of mine for years now. I use it on its own if I want to go out without any makeup on as it perfectly blurs my skin giving a more airbrushed look. I always use it with my make up and even for little freshen ups during the day if needed. This travel size is perfect for on the go too

Not sure I’d buy again!
I got this because of the hype online… even though it is translucent, I find it can go slightly orange! I have tried with different foundations and have the same issue. Does the job at keeping makeup in place and keeping oil at bay though!
