Surprisingly shimmery

I have bought Paint Pot shadows on two previous occasions and liked the texture, smooth application, primer function  and matte finish of both the Painterly shade ( a beige pink) and Soft Ochre ( a muted warm yellow) My third purchase has been the Vintage Selection shade ( rose pink taupe) but I really dislike the unexpected shimmer which is almost metallic in intensity and prevents use as a neutral primer as the shimmer remains evident  under powder eyeshadows that I  like to blend on top. It isn’t as smooth or as versatile due to the metallic effect so I cannot recommend this particular shade.

Hard and draggy on the eyes

I was excited to try this after reading rave reviews but this is awful. The product is very hard and doesn’t apply easily - it’s uncomfortable and drags the eyelids when applying, rather than the almost gooey images you see online of people’s half-used pots. I’ll be returning this and would definitely not recommend it. Soft ochre was the colour I tried, to correct redness on my lids.
