The Moroccanoil is obviously very good but I'm not sure I saw any benefit to having the purple in. It seems if you want a toning effect you'll need to use actual toner/purple shampoo. Maybe this just helps a little after already using a toner but but I can't say I saw the purple doing much for me...

I have used the original Moroccan oil for years but as I have bleached blond highlights I thought I would give the purple one a try. I bought the mini version first, before purchasing a full size to see if it worked. Unfortunately it left a grey tinge in my hair and made it look dull. I will try it one more time before I fully make up my mind.

I have this and the light one and they’re both really good. My hair looks and feels so healthy after using this product. Since lightening my hair I’ve been using the purple oil and it really does improve the condition of my hair as well as helping keep brassy tones at bay. Would definitely recommend
