Great for beginners in active serums.
5Tried the serum for 4 weeks and noticed a clear improvement in the red marks around my acne marks. My skin definitely looks more even after a couple of weeks. The serum blended in quickly and didn’t react to any products placed on top of it. It is a serum that does require a bit of time to see some change and I would definitely recommend following the directions as your skin can take time to adjust to the active ingredients. However, this item is great for a range of people including those just starting to get in to active serums. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fantastic
5This product is amazing! Within just two days, my skin started clearing up, and in a week, the spots that had been on my face for months were finally gone. The component that smooths the skin has completely transformed mine—it feels softer, smoother, and looks so much less tired. Just be sure to use sunscreen. At last, a product that truly works for stubborn, closed-off spots that never come to a head but repeatedly get infected month after month.

Great product but smells strange
4This is a great product, it made my skin really clear and bright and the effect was clear nearly straight away. My only complaint about the product is that it smells a bit strange (a bit like feet as it’s unscented. Personally, I believe it’s worth it as my skin has never looked better, but if you’re sensitive to smells then this may be an issue. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Minimal effectiveness + unpleasant odour
2I received this product for free, to test for 3 weeks, from Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review. This serum sounded great and I was very excited to try it. I was however, unfortunately, very disappointed, as I didn’t notice any difference in my skin and I was incredibly put off by the smell which I found lingered all day long! Hopefully the smell can be improved as it does say on the label “fragrance-free” so it wasn’t intentional. The serums texture was however quite nice when squeezing it out and applying a thin layer to the face, a little goes a long way. I wouldn’t recommend this for sensitive skin as it can be too drying. It is well packaged, comes in a box, maybe slightly giving the impression of a more luxury product; although this was not my experience upon testing. It also has a slightly unusual screw top lid. I am disappointed I can’t recommend this product due to the unpleasant odour you have to wear on your face all day and the minimal effectiveness which I was surprised at. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Smelly, sticky.
3The consistency was sticky, it took a while to absorb into my skin, maybe make it a but runnier. The smell seemed like it was off, naybe makenit unscented. The packaging was nice and the tube always easy to use and get the most out of it. It seemed to work no better or worse than My usual serum. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Decent product
3The Neutrogena Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum is a solid pick for oily, acne-prone skin. With salicylic acid, AHA, and PHA, it helps with breakouts without over-exfoliating, which I really appreciated. It didn’t irritate my skin, but the smell is really bad. It’s so unpleasant that it’s hard to get past, which is a shame because the formula itself works well. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Quite drying on sensitive skin
3This is a product you really need to ease into, I tried applying this all over and my skin felt quite sensitive after. I used this as a spot treatment instead which did help clear up some spots. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great serum!
5This product works really well in clearing skin and reducing the redness and size of active spots, whilst preventing further breakouts. It can be a little harsh so do test it first but it is a great exfoliating serum. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
