Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo is a medicine. Contains Neutar™ solubilised coal tar extract for the treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp, scalp psoriasis and dandruff. Always read the label.

For cutaneous use only. Liberal amounts of NEUTROGENA T/GEL® Therapeutic Shampoo should be applied and massaged into the wet scalp and left for several minutes. The scalp should be rinsed, the application repeated and then the scalp rinsed thoroughly. Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo should be used two to three times weekly for the treatment of scalp disorders. Treatment usually lasts for 6 weeks, after which time improvement should be seen. Longer periods of treatment should only take place under the supervision of a doctor. Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic shampoo is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Do not use on inflamed or broken skin.
Active Ingredient: NeutarTM Solubilised Coal Tar Extract 20 mg/ml (equivalent to 5mg/ml Coal Tar).
Other Ingredients: Macrogol Lauryl Ether (4), Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocodiethanolamide, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Perfume (Contains Esters of Benzoic Acid, Benzyl Benzoate, Butylated Hydroxytoluene (E321)), Sodium Chloride, Purified Water.

Bought for mum
My mum suffers with scalp psoriasis and uses a varied range of products from a dermatologist but tried this as something less medical- this has really helped keep her scalp less flakey and itchy

Smells horrible but works
I suffer with psoriasis in my hair and this is the only thing that works, try not to use all the time as it dulls hair colour

so far so good!
calmed my itchy scalp in the short term but no long term results as of yet, itching gets bad a day after washing rather than immediately. smells lovely though, a herbal/therapeutic scent- not sure why reviews dont like the smell i think its great!
