The shampoo and conditioner is fine. The serum is amazing at calming an itchy scalp and has a lovely minty smell!

After suffering years with recurring dandruff, what I can only describe as frequent flare ups of itchy redness, severe large flaking dandruff and spending the last several months trying to manage 2 large cradle cap type patches on the back of my head, I’ve finally found some relief after starting nioxin scalp recovery kit a week ago. My scalp is the best it’s been for a long time with a marked improvement on the patches with less plaque formation, not as dry and I’ve had no flare ups elsewhere on my scalp since using it.  I’ve used all sorts of products over the years from t gel, nizerol, steroid treatment from GP and more recently healpsorin. I have to say all failed in my conquest for a full cure.  I was surprised to learn Staphylococcus capitis is 100 times more abundant on the scalp of dandruff sufferers, as I was led to believe it was a fungus overgrowth so I’m guessing this recovery kit is helping rebalance those little microbes and so far so good.  I’m loving the scalp serum which at present I’m applying around 3-4 times a day to those patches for instant relief from dryness. I’d highly recommend!!

This has been a fanastic product and well worth the money! I had a really red, flaky itchy patch on the back of my head which was causing me no end of problems so I purchased this and WOW the results were great from first use. The shampoo and conditioner are really fresh and you can really feel it working in and smells great unlike a lot of medicated shampoos, then the soothing leave in is great to take away the "itch" highly recommend!
