- Apply a generous amount of co-wash where you need conditioning most - from mid-length to ends, then work toward the roots.

I've been following the Curly Girl method for years and cowashing in between shampooing with conditioner but my scalp was never happy with it. I wanted to be gentle still so changed up to a proper cowash by Aveda and my hair scalp is so much happier! I only shampoo every month now, insteadnof every other wasg, to remove hard water build up. This cleans really well without stripping my hair.

The ideal co-wash for curly hair
I love using this co-wash! I find it gives me a much more thorough clean than just using conditioner (CGM) and it leaves my hair feeling moisturised rather than dry. You definitely need to use it twice in the shower in order to get that extra clean feeling, in which case a bigger bottle would have been more ideal due to the price of it. But I will certainly continue to buy it
