If you want your waves to stay, you should try this prep. It is non-greasy and lightweight. A bit hardening. A little does a long way. Do not over-apply.

It does enhance curls and keep them well but it is drying. Do not tie up your hair after using it. Otherwise, all the curls will become messes.

Good spray for curls
I was hesitant to try this because another Aveda hairspray was really sticky and made my hair break. I like this spray for my 3b hair. It seems good for creating volume at the roots or preventing flyaways/excess frizz. The smell is pleasant and it hasn't left a chalky film on my very dark hair. And it doesn't seem to impact shine. Overall does what I wanted, but nothing mind-blowing.
