The moisturising cream is made up of 97% natural ingredients, including haritaki which offers antioxidant properties. It is enriched with retinal, a powerful source of vitamin A, which works to remove dead skin cells and reduce the appearance of fine lines. The potent cream delivers plumper-looking skin with a hydration boost from hyaluronic acid, while niacinamide reduces the appearance of pores and visibly brightens the complexion. Applied before bed, skin is left feeling supple and refreshed when you wake.

Very irritating to my skin
The cream is very irritating to my skin, it made my skin tingle then go a burning red. Apparently this is sensitivity to niacinimide (B3). I will have to throw it out.

I wanted something a little more active than my current standard moisturiser for night time. I love the pump design. Very smooth non sticky when applied doesn’t leave skin dry. I do feel a slight tingle but only in patches and it passes. I’m very happy with how great my skin feels in the morning, definitely more plump around and my light lines and they feel more smooth and less visible. Very happy so far also a little goes a long way.

Too strong
I’ve used retinol and retinal products before (medik8, geek and gorgeous) with no irritation, but this cream really dried out my skin and made it irritated. The next day it would feel horrible. I tried using it once a week but still did the same thing. So I would say it’s pretty strong. Wouldn’t buy again even though I love Avene products.

I love the pump design of the jar meaning you don't have to put your fingers in the jar thus eliminating the possibly of contaminating the product and it also means you are not over using as it tells you exactly the amount of pumps to use.
