Specially developed for blemish-prone and oily skin types, Avène Very High Protection Cleanance SPF50+ Sun Cream for Blemish-Prone Skin offers broad-spectrum protection from UVA, UVB and blue light rays through a sunfilter Triasorb™ technology. The lightweight formula is designed to help minimise breakout-causing bacteria and reduce the look of textural irregularities, while working to keep your skin hydrated for up to 8 hours.
Non-sticky and ultra-light, the sun cream is easy to apply and absorbs quickly into the skin, boasting a water and sweat-resistance so you can wear with confidence.

I bought this for the summer to keep my skin from getting oily on hot days. It feels very comfrtable on and helps to control the oil, but it is not overly mattifying either.

Avoid if you have oily skin
This product is meant for oily and blemish-prone skin, which is mine. However, the cream is quite greasy and does not absorb at all on oily skin. Leaves an oily, shiny finish. I gave it to my boyfriend who has dry, sensitive skin and it suits him perfectly. The previous formula was much better and I liked it a lot. It gave a matt finish on my skin. When ordered it, I expected to be the same, but unfortunately this new formula is quite different.

I’ve tried this product with different serums, setting powder, setting sprays with same result. Make up slides of and skin looks shiny after only few hours Won’t recommend

Greasy after formula changed
Loved this product before they changed the formula recently, it used to have a matte finish and was non-greasy for my oily skin. This new formula is quite greasy and leaves a shine on my skin immediately. Please make the old formula available again! Will have to find a new sunscreen brand for oily skin now.

I got this to use on sunbeds and it hasn't caused me to breakout which is good! It sits quite nicely under make up as well but I don't suggest using it for under make up on a full work day with travelling, it got greasy towards the end of the day!

Good for oily skin
This sunscreen is really good for oily skin. it goes on wet but after a few minutes on the skin, it gets absorbed. I find it especially good under makeup so you can skip the primer.
