Use it damp/wet!
It is a bit stiff when dry, but when you dampen the sponge it becomes really soft and easy to blend with (even the size of the sponge increases significantly). The wet sponge causes lower coverage, so if you are looking for a beauty sponge for dry formulas or high coverage, choose an another one.
