I’m not saying this shampoo is to treat any scalp conditions, but I do suffer from eczema on my scalp and the prescription ointment leaves my hair too greasy so I don’t use it. Instead I tried this and yes as with most clarifying shampoos, it does need a strong conditioner after use, but the barely noticeable grains in it really clear my scalp and my scalp is itch and flake free for days until my next wash. Personally I use it between fortnightly and monthly, with my regular curlsmith shampoo on wash days in between and find this works well for me. We live in an area with hard water so this is also a factor to consider.

Great clarifying shampoo, I was really struggling with hard water and build up from trialing Boucleme. After two washes my hair feels soft and healthy again! Satisfying squeak when washing. Downside is you need to use a fair amount of product so it’s not going to last particularly long. No lingering scent.

Too drying for not cleansing properly, need to shampoo twice with this to get rid of product build up dandruff making my hair even dryer- even then still doesn’t do a good job. Hard to use for me as it doesn’t foam up that well, I’m not a fan of that. Better clarifying shampoos out there
