1. Pull the plastic tab from the battery compartment to engage the battery.
2. Press the power button on the front of the device. A white light will appear above the power button, You will immediately feel the sonic vibration.
3. You can now start to Dermaplane. Lean the Smoother against your skin. The correct 45-degree angle is automatic due to the slanted design on the head.
* It is recommended to moisturise after treatment.
You will notice your skincare penetrates more effectively as it is no longer being blocked by a barrier of hair and dead skin cells
**It is recommended to replace the head of your device once you notice the edge is blunt. This will be obvious if you need to go over the same area twice to see a result.

The first one I had delivered had battery missing and I could see the box had been opened. Reported it straight away to LF and they sent a replacement the next day without any quibbles. I’m really impressed with this Smoother. I’ve just got into Dermaplaning, as I wanted an easy way to remove the hair from my upper lip. I then noticed I had a lot of peach fuzz on my face which needed removal. As I’ve got older, it seems to have gotten worse, so it needed to be removed! I also read about the benefits of dermaplaning, i.e. your skincare goes on better, your makeup looks better, etc. I was using the Hollywood Browzer manual Dermaplaner - basically a blade with a plastic handle. (I have tried different brands, without success). However, I found I kept cutting myself!!! I checked my technique and I was doing it right, but the all the manual removers seemed to have a “scratchy” bit on the blade, which kept cutting me! So I wanted another way of removing the hair and after much research, I chose this. I found it to be very good. It’s way better than the manual one. I didn’t cut myself for starters! The Smoother removed the hair on my upper lip, peach fuzz and dead skin and I was left with really smooth skin. The Smoother is easy to use. I found it easier than the manual one, although the technique is the same. It was quick and did a better job, it seemed to remove more, or go “deeper” into the skin, which I like as I want to remove everything I can. I would recommend it, I bought it on offer, so the cost of the Smoother vs the cost of the Browzer is comparable as I found the Browzers go blunter quicker.
