Give skin a deep cleanse with the Micro-Peeling Purifying Gel Wash from French skincare brand La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar range, targeted at oily, blemish and acne-prone skin. The foaming body and facial wash is specially formulated for persistent and stubborn imperfections.
Enriched with a blend of powerful actives including Salicylic Acid (2%), LHA (0.05%), Zinc (0.2%) and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring water, the cleanser works to decongest clogged pores of bacteria and impurities that can lead to excess sebum production and breakouts. Performing a micro-exfoliation to gently, yet effectively, purge skin of daily pollutants and acne-inducing bacteria, the purifying wash refreshes skin from top to toe with its gentle, alcohol-free formula. Dermatologically-tested and safe for use on even the most sensitive skin types, the hypoallergenic gel wash imparts a cooling sensation with menthol for an invigorating cleanse.

This product was recommended to me by a friend and after reading the amazing reviews I decided to order the bigger bottle. I would have quite visible pores from having acne when I was younger and my skin has been horrendous lately with wearing a mask so much. After using this face wash once I noticed that the spots around my chin and jaw line had greatly improved over night! I have used to many face washes over the years and nothing has worked but this one is fab and worth every penny. I have been using it once a day after I take my make up off. My skin improves more as the days go on. My fiance even noticed how good my skin was getting (and he usually doesnt notice things like that!) It is a nice gel wash so it doesn't mess up the bathroom. I would 100% recommend this product and I will continue to buy this!

I've got sensitive and reactive skin that is of great quality as long as I am careful and stay quite simplistic in my skincare choices and I am a big fan of la Roche-Posay in general, but this might have been the product to leave out for me. I wanted to add a bit of peeling to my routine, as I've passed 42 and want to care a bit more for my skin, - but I simply think this was too 'harsh' for me. My skin felt completely stripped of moisture and was very tight and also 'papery' to the touch after (I tried it around four times to give it a real shot). It smells really fresh, but might simply be better for more tolerant skintypes.

Great for those with acne, especially "fungal acne"
I suffer from hormonal acne and this product is great and gentle as an everyday cleanser. I also thought that i suffered from "fungal acne" the small spots that nothing could get rid of but after using this product for a week most of those spots vanished! My skin always feels clean after using it and I follow up with a gentle moisturiser. The bottle is very large and I have been using it for 3 months now and I've still got half left.

I bought this as it was on offer and for someone who has problematic skin, what's another product on the shelf right?! I suffer with breakouts on my back and shoulders and have searched relentlessly for something that would help but to no avail. Whilst this has not been a miracle cure, after a few weeks of use, it has definatley helped reduce the breakouts and cleanses my oily skin nicely without leaving it feeling dry and tight. Nice lather and has a very slight menthol scent to it.

I’ve been suffering with cystic acne for a couple of months now due to my PCOS and have used so many products to calm my skin down from the ordinary to Dermalogica nothing seemed to work. I saw this product and decided to try it. As soon as I started using it on my skin, the consistency was completely different to any other the cleaners I have been using. I could feel it was getting rid of my breakouts however not over stripping my skin. After a week of using I could see a big difference with my skin, redness and irritation was decreasing and the size of my painful cystic acne were way smaller.
