The highly contracted pigmented formula helps to preserve the intensity and freshness of your colour between salon visits for tresses worthy of a little envy. Suitable for both natural and dyed dark hair, the shampoo will keep your colour looking deep, intense and free from brassiness.
Apply to wet hair, lather, leave on for 3-5 minutes and rinse well. Follow with Dark Envy conditioner. Do not use on dark hair with blonde highlights. Use the Brass Off system instead.

Lovely
After using the shampoo for my ombré hair I’ve definitely noticed a difference! My blonde doesn’t seem as yellow toned and my brunette hair is much more rich a luxurious looking!

I actually received this product as part of VoxBox, complimentary of Influenster for testing purposes and I must say I have seen a difference in my hair since using this as well as the Matrix hair mask simultaneously. I have balayage hair, so I often get red/brassy tones come through and since I’ve used this product (at least once a week), I have seen the colours toned down so much more! The reddish tones are no longer appearing which is great for me so I’ll definitely continue to use this. In fact, it’s now saved me a trip to the hair dressers as I can do the toner treatment at home just by using this regularly now!

It works!
I was given this shampoo as part of the Matrix total Vox box which was sent to me by Matrix to test and review. I have to say I am Really impressed with the dark envy shampoo. It truly does what it says on the tin! I have a fading out balayage on my hair and having applied the shampoo it has balanced out the red tones that were starting to show on my hair. My hair instantly looks darker and it smells and feels amazing. This is a deep green formula that does wonder to brown hair. I would totally use this again.

Just to start off with, I received this complementary product for testing purposes. The first thing I noticed about this shampoo is how rich and concentrated the formula was which I loved. I could tell as I washed my hair that it was going to do wonders, and it did. I loved the way my hair felt renewed, the look and smell. It wasn’t a heavy smell which I appreciated as I do use a lot of other products. I would buy this product again but I will say that the colour of the actual shampoo can stain a bit, with a bit of a scrub, it does come out.

Obsessed!
I was lucky enough to be sent this product by Matrix and I had never used a shampoo for brunettes before. It got rid of all unwanted red tones in my hair and left it looking cool, glossy and healthy! It’s become my new obsession and I won’t be going back to drugstore shampoos. I highly recommend trying this if you haven’t already.

Matrix Dark Envy Green Shampoo.
I recently dyed my hair a dark brown from having purple hair, I’ve dyed it about 4 times and couldn’t get the red out of my hair... I purchased this shampoo and it’s worked wonders on my hair! The red tones have really lightened since I’ve been using it. I would definitely recommend this product! I’ll be definitely purchasing this again!
