Diffusing seamlessly with a second-skin-like result, the NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation provides up to 16 hours of colour-true wear with a full-coverage finish.
Developed with the brand’s botanical-based Anti-Oxidation Complex, the antioxidant-rich foundation helps to prevent the colour from shifting, while protecting the skin against urban pollutants and blue-light damage. Featuring humidity and sweat-proof properties, the buildable formula leaves the skin with a shine-free appearance, achieving an airbrushed effect and unlocking complexion perfection.
Prepare your skin for smooth makeup application with Light Reflecting Primer.
Dispense a small amount of Soft Matte Complete Foundation on to the back of your hand. One drop delivers full coverage with fingertip application. Pat product with fingertips. Start at the centre of the face and gently press the foundation on the skin. Use a stippling motion to blend outward. Work in small sections, focusing on one area at a time.

I have oily fairly textured skin. This foundation controls oil and leaves you with the smoothest looking skin! Prep well before, use a brush to apply and a sponge just to make sure it’s all blended in. Lasts a long time as well!

Review for NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation
The shade Oslo is the perfect match for my fair cool toned skin. It applied beautifully, giving me a soft matte skin like finish that photographs like you have a skin perfecting filter on. Also this foundation is 45ml, making it great value for money. However, on my slightly oily skin, I did not find it to be very long wearing, as it starts to fade and break apart on my face at about the 5 or 6 hour mark, no matter what primer, powder or setting spray I use, which isn't ideal for a product that claims to last up to 16 hours. My experience with this product's lack of lasting is a shame because if it was actually long last on my skin, it would be my perfect matte foundation.
