Encourage a clarified complexion with Neutrogena’s Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum. Summoning a radiant glow, the non-comedogenic formula seeks to minimise the look of discolouration caused by blemishes.
The serum is enriched with salicylic acid, working to de-congest pores and absorb excess sebum. Gluconolactone lends refining benefits, helping to smooth the skin, while glycolic acid promotes a more even-toned finish. Complete with Mandelic acid for an added brightening effect, the serum helps to leave the skin feeling revitalised.
- Application: New users should apply product to small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer once a day on clean face, then increase to twice a day if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains AHAs that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

small noticeable change
the serum has a strong chemical like smell but once you get past it, it has a light consistency and absorbs well into skin. as it's a serum, a little goes a long way. i did notice a difference in my skin and it helped target acne prone skin. however, there were some spots that are so persistent, so i don't know if it would be really good for someone who has more severe acne. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

The smell!!! It's indescribable! All I can say it's absolutely foul. How anyone can wear this on their face and honk like that is beyond me. Just awful

Great addition to skincare routine
I really enjoyed this product; I saw improvement in my skin and will keep it in my routine. I used the product on my problem area, specifically my chin, and any other areas that popped up. I noticed a visible change in the texture of my skin and the blemishes I had quickly reduced in redness and size. I also received positive comments from others who noticed a difference in my skin. The product is branded as having no fragrance, when applied I could smell a ‘medicinal’ smell, however this dissipates quickly. Loved this serum. The smell is quite strong which could be a bit off-putting however this serum done the job! It brought to the surface any spots and blackheads and with regular use, they disappeared, leaving my skin feeling soft and looking clear and healthy. I would buy this again.

Good product, but funny smell

Good spot serum
I tested this spot serum and I found that it was effective at reducing my acne. I would not use it every day as I feel it is a bit strong for my skin for daily use, but using it every other day has worked out well for me! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great little product!
