Encourage a clarified complexion with Neutrogena’s Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum. Summoning a radiant glow, the non-comedogenic formula seeks to minimise the look of discolouration caused by blemishes.
The serum is enriched with salicylic acid, working to de-congest pores and absorb excess sebum. Gluconolactone lends refining benefits, helping to smooth the skin, while glycolic acid promotes a more even-toned finish. Complete with Mandelic acid for an added brightening effect, the serum helps to leave the skin feeling revitalised.
- Application: New users should apply product to small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer once a day on clean face, then increase to twice a day if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains AHAs that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Great serum for unclogging pores
I have been using this serum for about 2 weeks and my skin has significant improved. I have got oily skin with uneven skin tone and suffer from clogged pores. The serum has helped with unclogging these contributing to my skin being much smoother and looking healthier. I have seen a reduced number of breakouts and my skin tone is more even. Fresh eyes!

Awful smell
First few times I used it did cause irritation. Follow directions and maybe try in one area first. Skin did get really dry and flakey after the first week, especially around my nose (good moisturiser needed) one thing to comment is that it smells awful!! After it dried the smell does go a little, advise not putting it on straight before bed. Have found that breakouts have decreased and skin looks more radiant. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Strange smell
I have used this serum a few times over last couple of weeks but it smells so weird and I couldn’t stand its smell. I can’t comment on its effectiveness on dark spot as I have not seen much difference yet. But because of it smelling like body odour and bad smell I am not using it anymore #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Improves skin
I used the Neutrogena Clear & Defend+ Daily Serum on my skin every morning after my shower. It was easy to apply, but had a strong smell. I followed it up with my usual day cream, so the smell was better. I after using consistently, I feel my skin looks better. I feel that the marks on my face has reduced which makes the skin look brighter. So I am very happy with using this serum. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great face product but acquired smell
This product has worked well in helping reduce the appearance of spots and marks on my face. I have been impressed with the results in a relatively short space of time. My main issue is that it has a rather strange smell to it like very chemical and not overly nice. I only smell it when i put it on my hands and then do not smell it again but it is not the most welcoming. The product comes out quite quickly but a little certainly goes a long way. Good product
