Encourage a clarified complexion with Neutrogena’s Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum. Summoning a radiant glow, the non-comedogenic formula seeks to minimise the look of discolouration caused by blemishes.
The serum is enriched with salicylic acid, working to de-congest pores and absorb excess sebum. Gluconolactone lends refining benefits, helping to smooth the skin, while glycolic acid promotes a more even-toned finish. Complete with Mandelic acid for an added brightening effect, the serum helps to leave the skin feeling revitalised.
- Application: New users should apply product to small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer once a day on clean face, then increase to twice a day if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains AHAs that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Great serum
This serum has been really good for my skin. I suffer with hormonal acne and this serum has definitely helped improve my skin’s appearance. It is fragrance free but is not odourless, it does have a strong smell but this disappears once it dries. I have found that using a really thin layer gives better results and that a good moisturiser is needed afterwards to prevent dryness. I’m looking forward to seeing the results over a longer period of time. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clearer smoother skin
I love this serum. After 1 week of using it I have noticed a positive change in the appearance of my skin. My acne marks have slightly reduced/faded and my skin has become a lot smoother and refreshed. I haven’t had to use large amounts of the serum which is also a positive. I am really positively surprised by this serum. I find it hard to find products that work with my oily/dry skin but this seems to have worked really well and lot quicker than I’m used to with other products. Bad smell

Odd smell
I was really looking forward to testing this Clear & Defend daily serum. Unfortunately I was put off by the off smell of the serum. I used the serum for a while hoping for some good results but could not bear the smell on my skin. Disappointed! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Very good
Acne spots were less visible after use, the serum is oily in texture but it's not staying on the face, very good feeling afterwards. Doesn't dry your skin, doesn't irritate, overall very good. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Amazing results!!
I tried this product for 2 weeks and the results in the short space of time was amazing. I noticed a change in the dark marks I had on my face drastically change and I was only using it once a day at nights. I will say though a little really does go a long way. It doesn’t have a slightly weird smell but for the results it has I don’t really mind the smell because it actually does what it says it will. Great product
I haven't had any breakouts since using this product and it absorbs very easily into my skin. I haven't noticed it smoothing my skin yet but I'm hoping that after using it fot longer I may see this. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Really nice serum
I was sent this to test and I must say I am really happy with this product it help form my skin and give me a more even complexion it is very lightweight on your skin And dries really fast as well it made my skin so much better and my make up look so good when I applied it will definitely be using this again #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Watery but good
This serum is very watery, the consistency isn’t what I’m used to. I followed the instructions and tested a small area for 3 days just to make sure my skin wouldn’t be irritated/have a bad reaction. Surprisingly my (sensitive) skin didn’t react at all. It says on the box you can work up to use it twice daily, however I feel that would be too much for my skin, so I’m sticking to applying it once a day. It sinks into the skin nicely, has no fragrance, and doesn’t feel tacky/ball up when using alongside other products. I’ve yet to see any difference in my acne marks, or my skin texture but it’s early days. I will say I’ve not had as many breakouts whilst using this, which is a plus. This product is definitely worth a shot to anyone who struggles with acne marks/breakouts/dull skin/skin texture. Just remember it takes time to see results. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
