The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Amazing facial wash
After using my skin was smooth and soft taking away any dryness I had. The product helped clear away any blemishes and spots and after using for a while I didn’t get any more blemishes and reduced spots on my face. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Better than i expected
This product left my skin feeling smooth but wasnt drying like some chemical exfoliaters. Didnt sting my skin at all even on delicate skin. Seemed to help heal spots quicker than they normally do #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Nice cleanser
Cleanser has amazing properties which remove all skin interruptions and gently exfoliate while washing the face. Nice texture and consistency. Leaves smooth and clean face without skin tightening sensation.

Balancing Wash
This product is great for oily/combination skin. I have noticed that my face is less oily, and it does seem to help prevent breakouts. I like that it contains both AHA & BHA, but indeed it can be a bit drying, especially if you have never used it before. Take it slow, and having a proper hydrating & moisturising routine is important for using this product. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good wash for different concerns
The wash is great! Smoothes and foams easily on the skin, and leaves a refreshing feeling afterwards. You almost can feel how much more receptive your skin is to any cream/product you will add afterwards. It did improve some of my hyperpigmentation and some acne. But I had to stop using it everyday and only use if 2-3x - week as it was too strong for my skin to use daily. Everyones skin is different, so I adjusted the product to mine. If your skin is more on the oily side with a healthy skin barrier, then using it everyday might do the trick for you. I recommend to have it and then starting slowly to see how your skin reacts. Its working well for me for a couple of times a week at night. Its good to have all those active ingredients ( SA and PHA) in one single wash, which cover most skin concerns. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Works but drys skin out badly
Product is good with blackheads and my pores are alot smaller. It does unfortunately dry my skin out terrible so I couldn't use it daily, but every other day I have still seen some positives on my ache reducing #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Pleasant product
I enjoyed using the Clear and Defend facial wash. It left my skin feeling soft and my looking fresher, but did leave it quite dry immediately after use and before applying moisturiser. It's nice that it's not scented but still leaves my face feeling clean, so you can tell it's working to refresh my skin, but it's not going to create a smell battle with other products I use as part of my skincare routine. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Lovely product
Lovely product to add to my skincare routine! The added salicylic acid is a bonus too and not something I have used before. Fresh and hydrated skin
