The best I’ve used
I’m a staunch beauty sponge fan for applying foundation. I hate using brushes because they leave lines! These sponges do not have that nasty latex smell many cheap ones can. They do not soak up tons of my liquid foundation. I like the fact they hold onto a bit of foundation for touch ups towards the end of my makeup application. If I’m completely honest, they have not washed up well for me. They tend to split or bits break off. They swell to twice their size once in contact with water & they have never quite recovered for me once dry. So I like to buy a 4 pack such as this to keep me going for a while. I’ve never ever experienced mould, even if I’ve got them wet. I’ve never ever experienced any kind of skin flare up or bacteria spreading from spots. But I do only ever put my makeup on once I’ve carefully cleansed my face, so they are only ever used on clean skin. I keep them in a cool dry makeup draw away from heat. Highly recommend.
