I bought this SPF as recommended by my dermatologist. It doesn’t have a very nice smell and if not rubbed in properly it can be quite grainy however it does leave the skin looking glowy.

Excellent for oily prone skin
I have extremely oily skin and have tried a multitude of spf’s but this one is the only one I can wear all day and I don’t start to shine. It’s honestly been a miracle for me because I usually get the shiniest face within about an hour. I’ve instantly fallen in love with it. I have noticed that my skin has become slightly drier as I have not been using it alongside a day time moisturiser as I can’t wear with other layers under makeup. As long as you use this product with a decent over night cream you should be fine.

I like that this is a mineral SPF, it does the job as a SPF & it’s not a greasy formula. However I did find it gave me spots as it’s quiet thick the formula & with my BB cream which I applied on top of this I found I did get tiny spots, so maybe don’t apply as much when using other products too especially after applying this.

Slides around skin
While it no doubt serves its sun protection purpose, it is horrible to apply, slides around my skin, doesn’t look great and cannot take anything else over it. I use it just for my hands and gardening. (Combination north European but olive skin). I won’t buy again.

I was hesitant because of mixed reviews, but for my very light skin it was perfect. I also dont ware a lot of make up so it suits me and does not peel away. I dont layer it with another foundation and just use this instead for everyday use.

I bought this because I read a review that compared it favourably to the SPF from The Ordinary, and have been using it as part of my routine with The Inkey List. I'm not sure about it to be honest. It's difficult to tell how good an SPF cream is at protecting your skin when you're not exposing yourself to strong sunlight for a long period of time so I can only really comment on skin feel and smell. I find it quite heavy. Normally I prefer thicker consistencies in creams as I have dry skin but it takes a really long time to absorb. It also has a strange, musty smell, which lingers. Together the thick consistency and the smell make my face just feel dirty after I've applied it, which is annoying right after you've washed and refreshed your skin, and applied all the serums and moisturisers. I'm enjoying all the other Inkey List products but not a fan of this. Probably won't repurchase.
