The Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane is designed to lend your skin the hydration it deserves. Squalane – a saturated and stable hydrocarbon found naturally in the skin – is believed to have a very high emollience, making the solution an effective hydrator.
Suitable for all skin types, the formula works to leave complexions looking soft and supple. What’s more, it can even be applied to hair to support heat protection, add shine and minimise the potential risk of breakage.
Apply a few drops daily or as needed to entire face ideally after water-based treatments.

Great for very dry skin
This oil is amazing! My face is very dry and I often get dry patches in the winter and my skin gets flaky. After using this I noticed a difference and my dry patches and flaky skin had disappeared. Definitely recommend if you suffer from dry skin.

Great for skin, not for hair
I wear this at night after cleaning my face. The oil is quite thin and a little goes a long way. My skin is very dry and I have found that this oil really helps. I wouldn’t recommend it for wear during the day as it leaves an oily sheen on your skin after absorbing. Unfortunately it was dreadful in my hair. I experimented with a couple of drops in my very long thick hair and it made it look greasy and did not absorb.

Disappointed
I love this brand and have used many of there products and this is the only one that I didn't love. My skin is SUPER DRY and I was hoping that adding this to my routine would help. Unfortunately it was not moisturizing enough for me. I will try there rose hip oil next. If your skin isn't super dry this may work for you.
