The Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane is designed to lend your skin the hydration it deserves. Squalane – a saturated and stable hydrocarbon found naturally in the skin – is believed to have a very high emollience, making the solution an effective hydrator.
Suitable for all skin types, the formula works to leave complexions looking soft and supple. What’s more, it can even be applied to hair to support heat protection, add shine and minimise the potential risk of breakage.
Apply a few drops daily or as needed to entire face ideally after water-based treatments.

So moisturising
Unfortunately, didn't work for me. I had little bumps on my skin and left me itchy. Used it as a nail and hand oil, and wow! Soft hands and cuticles the very next day! Be careful for sensitive skin types, or those who don't tolerate oils well, it's not for you. Maybe hemi squalane is better. It is lighter than this formula.
