The Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane is designed to lend your skin the hydration it deserves. Squalane – a saturated and stable hydrocarbon found naturally in the skin – is believed to have a very high emollience, making the solution an effective hydrator.
Suitable for all skin types, the formula works to leave complexions looking soft and supple. What’s more, it can even be applied to hair to support heat protection, add shine and minimise the potential risk of breakage.
Apply a few drops daily or as needed to entire face ideally after water-based treatments.

Squalene was one of the products the founder of Deceim (the umbrella company for the ordinary and niod etc) said he would have on a desert island Having used it I can see why, it deeply hydrates and moisturises the skin, leaving it so so soft. Can use it on your nails, hair, everywhere, love it when my skin needs some tlc.and hydration or instead of moisturiser. You actually forget just how good it is until you use it again.
