Enriched with a 0.5% concentration of the anti-ageing powerhouse Retinol, which is a derivative of Vitamin A, the lightweight serum has a plumping and firming effect on the complexion, as well as protecting the skin from harmful environmental aggressors. Another key antioxidant ingredient Squalane prevents UV damage and the formation of age spots whilst counteracting harmful bacteria, leaving you with flawless skin.
Free from water, alcohol, silicone, nut, gluten and soy.
Vegan. Cruelty-free.
Please note: Retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation. Sun protection is particularly important when using retinoids. This product must not be used in conjunction with other retinoids including retinol or retinoic acid. This product is not a treatment for acne. Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne during the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid including those used in this formulation.
Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.

I think its a good start
If you want to start to use retinoids this is a good product to start with. It's oil based so less irritating. So good for beginners. If you like it, you will like any other Retinoids as well. Really good price tag!

Not good for oily skin
The product is pure oil. Which for normal skin could be fine. I have oily skin so this just adds to it. I wouldn’t recommend for oily skin types. Previous serums I’ve used were never this oily. Applied at night time, and then wash off in the morning, throughout the day my skin is producing so much more oil than normal.

I've just started using this after wanting to try retinol for a while. The serum is easy to apply and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry (I do use a cleansing balm before applying it and a moisturiser afterwards).
