Providing an immediate 86%* boost in skin hydration, the serum is enriched with sugar-based humectants to lock in moisture and nourish the skin barrier. Vitamin B12 gives the serum its signature pink hue while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture levels. Bisabolol and gallic acid derivatives combine to visibly soothe the skin and reduce the appearance of redness.
The serum should be implemented into your prep, treat and seal regimen as step treat. It is recommended to apply after other similar water-based serums but before oils and creams.

I love The Ordinary products (particularly the hyaluronic acid). As someone who has red and dry skin, and after reading the great reviews for this Soothing & Barrier Support Serum, I was really looking forward to trying it. However it has made no difference to the redness and if anything I've found it very drying on my skin. I much prefer the hyaluronic serum so will return to this.
