Nourish extremely dry hair with the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Rich Deep-Conditioning Treatment, specially formulated for Afro-Caribbean or Caucasian hair that is over-processed and damaged. Providing intense hydration, the conditioning ingredients really make a difference to dry and porous hair. Olive oil locks in moisture to add bounce and shine, whilst hydrolised elastin strengthens and adds elasticity to your hair.
Before shampooing, thoroughly wet hair and apply in sections. Work into hair with fingertips. Cover with a shower cap and leave for at least 20 minutes (preferably over 60 minutes). Rinse well and follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley shampoo, conditioner and scalp toner. Finer hair textures should double-shampoo to remove all product. For best results use at least once a week.
- Give your hair an enhanced Elasticizer treat by covering with a shower cap and leaving on overnight
- Apply Elasticizer before working out, then shampoo out post-gym
- Use Elasticizer as a styling cream on natural tightly coiled hair
Please Note: Do NOT use Elasticizer Extreme for three days before or three days after chemical processing.

My hair loves this stuff
Such a great protein treatment. Can be used before or after washing hair

Great
I use it every hair was to stop my clarifying shampoo from striping my hair too much. I could just use a less striping shampoo, however a weightlifter I’m creating in the gym everyday and need a good cleanse. This is great just to protect the hair shaft a little.

Very moisturising
Very moisturising. I have 2a hair and don’t need to use it often to notice a difference.

Excellent but a bit pricey
I'm a fan of the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer in the different formats. I'm on my 2nd Elasticizer Extreme, using the standard Intensive variety in between. The product is really effective, has improved the condition of my hair and lasts for months. At first I found using a pre-shampoo a bit faffy but got used to wetting hair with the shower head pre-shower then combing through the product and scooping up hair in a hair wrap or shower cap and get on with other things. It does feel richer than the standard but I'm not sure if it's worth paying extra for it. As it isn't in 1000ml it always works out more per use than getting the larger standard size. Only reason it's 4* and not 5*. If it's on a good offer I'll get this otherwise the standard in larger size

Works wonders on my frizzy hair
There is definitely a difference when using PK compared to non-premium brands. The change in my hair is visible immediately. I don't mind paying a higher price for good hair products as it saves me money on repair treatments at the hairdressers. It also smells amazing and you only need a small amount.

Great
Being using this for about 7 months now. Helps to stop my shampoo completely stripping and drying out my hair.

This was once a staple
I used to love this product but I found other products that were more moisturising than this so I was able to thankfully swap from my dependency on this product. I do generally love Philips Kingsley products

Excellent deep conditioner
I have very dry, porous, curly hair with a strong tendency to frizz. I struggle to find products to suit but this is very good. It’s really quite expensive but worth it for my hair type.
