Tricky to get out of the pot without lifting too may at once and they seem too delicate for the tweezers not to just rip them, but once out, I didn't have much trouble with them slipping once applied. I keep them in the fridge and they do help with puffing, although it's unclear whether the ingredients have any real benefits or if it's just the cool soothing effect. They do make for more of a quick little pamper than getting the same effect from a cold spoon though.
