Intense Smell
1I used this product and the corresponding masque conditioner twice and ended up throwing them both away. This product has an incredibly intense smell. If you like candy-sweet smelling hair products then you'll probably like the scent. I don't generally like strongly scented products and I'd wish I'd known about the smell before I bought it. It's no more moisturising than other products I've tried but smells tens times as strong.

5I just love Shea Moisture and precisely this Black Castor Oil Shampoo. I have been coloring my hair for 15 years and they are dry and damaged and on the other hand get easily oily and I need to wash them every other day. I have tried almost everything, even no poo method, but it wasn't for me. This shampoo is the best. It helps to deal with my problem and my hair are beautiful :) I really recommend (probably with some Shea Moisture conditioner or hair mask).

5Works soo well...my hair felt sooo clean and soft without feeling dry and smelled soooo goood...i’ll Definitely restock when I run out of it

Dry
1I didn't like it at all. It leaves my hair very dry and hard to comb. It really cleans the scalp and feels good but too dry!

Very good shampoo
5I like this shampoo very much, as well as all the other Shea Moisture products that I have been trying. Definitely will buy it again as soon as I will run out of it , as it leaves my hair with such a nice texture after using it.

5I am very pleased with this shampoo. It gives such a lovely sensation. I have curly hair and I use this in combination with other Shea Moisture products - masks. Definitely recommand it! <3

Great Shampoo!
4This shampoo cleanses my hair really well without causing too much dryness. I have straight hair that is dry frizzy and damaged. I don't recommend this for those who want something more moisturizing though.
