The Beauty Face Mask for Anti-Ageing is a targeted, bio-cellulose sheet mask created by Skimono, a London-based brand inspired by Asian beauty trends who aim to provide a solution to the damaging effects of pollution, sun damage and stress.
Replicating the namesake concept of a multi-layered kimono, the mask utilises naturally-derived bio-cellulose with a three-dimensional matrix structure that has been saturated in a unique serum to maximise absorption capacity. It boasts hydrophilic properties able to retain up to 200 times its dry weight in serum with ultra-thin, tightly-woven crystallinity fibres, which closely adhere to every contour of the face for optimum penetration.
Infused with a host of age-defying actives, it promotes firmer, smoother looking skin through the replenishment of collagen and restoration of elasticity levels. Extracts of Oat and Grape Seed combat the appearance of wrinkles, with essential antioxidants to fight against dulling pollutants and environmental aggressors.
The biosynthetic mask allows skin to breathe, working its magic within 30 minutes to reveal a visibly brightened and rejuvenated complexion. Fine lines and uneven textures appear minimised, imparting a supple, smooth surface that’s perfectly prepped for makeup. An ideal pick-me-up for tired, dull and lacklustre skin types.

Step 1: Start with a clean and dry face. Carefully remove mask from sachet and unfold. Step 2: Peel away one outer layer to reveal bio-cellulose mask. Place mask on face, positioning carefully around nose, eyes and mouth. Step 3: Peel off the remaining outer layer. Hold bio-cellulose below hairline and peel outer layer downwards. Step 4: Press to contours of face for close fit. Smooth away any air pockets between mask and skin. Use for 20-30 minutes. After removing mask gently massage any remaining serum into the skin.

It's a nice experience but is a little irritating
It is nicely packaged and feels luxurious to do as an at-home spa activity, but I found it a little irritating on my skin and won't be buying this again.

Nice as a treat
Really nice in terms of the relaxing experience of putting on a mask and just taking time out, but I wasn't as blown away by the results as the hype suggests I should be. Not sure I could justify the cost over a more basic alternative.

hydrating
I love a good sheet mask especially in the evening as my pre evening beauty routine. this one did not disappoint. It smelts lovely and felt very hydrating on the face. leave it on for 20 minutes (longer the sheet tends to dry out and it's not as pleasant on the face), remove it and massage the serum on your face before applying a ight oil!

Pricey but worth it
I love this mask- the luxurious packaging suggests a quality mask and I was not disappointed. Nice scent- not overpowering. Relaxing and cool to the skin. Used before a night out and skin looked moisturised snd refreshed

Favourite brand
This is my favourite brand for face masks. I save them for special events, as they’re quite pricey, but in my opinion absolutely worth the money. The after-sun mask is also fantastic for plumping skin and reducing fine lines.
