The unique two-tiered teeth, with greater density of teeth at the base, make back-combing quicker, easier, and much gentler on your hair. Due to its gentle nature, this Back-Combing brush is suitable on all hair types.
How to clean Tangle Teezer
1. Take your Tangle Teezer and lift any loose hair from the teeth. It may help to get the end of a pin-tail comb, put it between the teeth, and raise the hairs from the base.
2. Fill a small bowl with warm soapy water, that’s comfortable for you to put your hands in about the same temperature as a warm bath.
3. Take a clean (but old!) toothbrush and dip it into the water.
4. Gently brush between the teeth until any product build-up is removed from the teeth and the base of the hairbrush.
5. Leave the brush to air dry naturally with the teeth facing upwards definitely don’t use a hairdryer on these brushes.

One of my basic pieces. Not for just backcombing. Good quality, bought it years ago, and still has all its teeth.

This brush is just ok. Don’t feel it works as well as a comb for back-combing… Maybe I’m not using it right but didn’t work as well as I hoped.

Best comb ever!
I have short bob length hair and this comb is great to add some additional volume to my crown when I do a half up/half down hair style.  Best I’ve tried!

Would highly recommend
I don’t tease my hair that often - so I bought this mostly to use the end of it to section my hair. It’s so long and skinny so it’s absolutely brilliant to do my parting! It also does a great job of teasing without over tangling your hair, which is useful when needed.
