Powered by a plant-derived retinol alternative, the INKEY List’s Bakuchiol Moisturiser combines intense hydration and antioxidant protection with skin-smoothing benefits. The face cream is ideal for mature skin types, forming a shield over the skin to help defend against environmental aggressors that can contribute to premature skin ageing.
With bakuchiol at the heart of its formula, the multi-purpose moisturiser minimises the appearance of fine lines and visibly balances the skin tone. Sacha Inchi oil, an ingredient packed full of omega-3, works in harmony with glycerin and squalane to deliver long-lasting nourishment to the skin, while encouraging a luminous appearance.

Obsessed
I am obsessed with this moisturiser, it’s such a nice cheap facial moisturiser, I use this before makeup or on a morning

Not impressed
I'll admit I'm not a big bakuchiol fan, but this product really didn't do it for me. I have tried other products from The Inkey List that were good and efficacious, so it's not a brand's problem. I just didn't see any difference whatsoever after regular use of this moisturiser. As far as I know, The Inkey List were one of the very first brands to incorporate this ingredient in their formulation, and I applaud them for this, but I think these days there are better alternatives if you want a product containing bakuchiol.

First time buy - would buy again
Bought this as a one off, so glad I did! So lightweight for everyday life

Meh
Nothing ground breaking. Was alright but I can live without it and stick with any regular moisturiser

Jury is still out
It has a decent consistency, quite a light formulation not too heavy. I have not seen any major results but I use this in the morning unlike tretinion/retinol. I will continue using as a preventative anti aging day moisturiser.

Meh...
I tried this moisturiser containing bakuchiol before bakuchiol became trendy and more talked about. I applaud The Inkey List for introducing this ingredient long before any other brand! That said, this brand is very hit-and-miss with me and, while I could rave about their vitamin C + EGF serum for hours, this specific product was a little meh... neither exceedingly good nor abysmally bad. I found it moisturising enough, but couldn't really see any of the bakuchiol benefits, which are supposed to be anti-aging. I obviously didn't expect miracles, but since this ingredient is spoken about as a retinol substitute (for those who might find retinol-based products too irritating), I was expecting a kind of similar outcome. I personally abandoned this moisturiser after I finished the tube and progressed to retinal.

Caused irritation
I bought this as it I supposed to be gentler on your skin than retinol. I used it and within half an hour my skin was burning and I had to go wash it off. One week later I still have a patch of skin on my knock which is very irritated. I do have very sensitive skin though. I have given the product to my friend who uses retinol regularly. I wouldn’t risk trying it againÂ
